Gonstead Adjustment
The Gonstead approach is built around one key principle: every adjustment should have a specific purpose. Rather than taking a generalized approach to the spine, the Gonstead Method carefully evaluates each patient to determine where an adjustment may be needed and how it should be performed.
This individualized approach allows the chiropractor to focus treatment on specific areas while emphasizing accuracy, control, and patient comfort.

A Specific Approach
Gonstead adjustments are carefully directed to the targeted area. Each adjustment is performed with precision and control, allowing Dr. Day to address joint movement while avoiding unnecessary force or twisting.

A Detailed Evaluation
The Gonstead Method uses a thorough evaluation to help identify areas that may need attention. One tool used is the Nervoscope, which measures temperature differences along the spine and provides additional information to help guide the examination. This is combined with palpation, movement assessment, and X-rays when appropriate to determine where a specific adjustment may be needed.
